Located in the far west of Kenya, Eldoret is a thriving city as a flourishing transport hub on the route between to Uganda from Kenya. The town is the 5th largest in the country and the capital which has continually thrived from the agriculturally rich area as well as manufacturing companies that have developed over the years. The name Eldoret comes from the Maasai word “eldore” meaning the stony river from the rocky Sosiani River.
